I'm currently a group benefits consultant with over 25 years of experience as an insurance and financial advisor. Creating web content, blog posts, articles and newsletters, I've also authored financial pieces for Investopedia, a leading resource for investing education, personal finance and market analysis. My work has also appeared on Paysa.com, QuickBooks Online, and the HomeVestors blog and resource page.
I've always had a passion for writing beginning with holiday cards I made for my Mom and Dad. When neither my brother Ned nor I had money to buy material trinkets for our parents, my sibling plucked flowers from the neighbor's garden and I opted for the safer route of crayon on construction paper. Passion eventually gave way to greed and I suffered through the banalities of insurance, finance, housepainting and a scrap tire slave encampment, before a friend and accomplished novelist nudged me a bit to resume writing.
When I'm not in front of the keyboard, I relish cooking, progressive music, my boy Blue(who makes a cameo to the right), the San Francisco Giants and the company of my beloved family and friends.
